After 5 and a bit months at sea, I’m back home and I’m excited about having a little bit of time off!
We arrived back in Liverpool yesterday morning after a 8 day trip to Norway which included visits to Flam, Olden & Bergen. We had been to Norway several times over the time onboard.
I had such a great time performing on the Boudicca, the team I worked alongside (which you can see in the photo) were fantastic and I’m gutted we’ve all gone our separate ways. I wish them all the best of luck with whatever they’re going to be getting up to. We had such a blast visiting many amazing places. One was Bermuda (to name a few) for the Americas Cup. It was fantastic, the weather, the racing and of course the time we had off!
As I write this, I’m sat in my living room without shoes on, and that feels great considering I wouldn’t go bare foot anywhere on the ship! It also felt brilliant to wake up in my own bed this morning too!
With a few gigs in, it’s time for a rest!
It may only be June, but Christmas will be here before we know it.
We’re very excited to announce that Lewis will be starring in ‘Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs’ at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House in Newcastle this festive season from 8th – 31st December. Lewis will be playing ‘Herman The Henchman’ alongside Geordie favourite Charlie Richmond as Muddles, Collabro’s Matt Pagan as the Prince and more names to be announced.

Rehearsals in Norfolk √
Travel home √
Pack for the ship X
After 6 weeks of rehearsals in Norfolk and my brain becoming extremely fried, I’m now back home and almost ready to embark and finally cruise! I’m so excited to be doing what I love and heading to sea. I’ve always wanted to do a ship and it’s happening!!
Over the rehearsal period, we’ve learned several production shows and learned all we need to know about entertaining our guests over the next 6 months. I simply can’t wait. All I need to do now is pack and enjoy a few days at home before heading to Southampton to dock and head for the Canary Islands, before cruising to several destinations around the globe. The thought of visiting so many places excites me and I cant wait to see what the world has to offer. See our full itinerary here.
I’m hoping to carry on updates throughout my time onboard, but I’ve been told the internet isn’t the greatest. So I may be a bit quiet, but knowing me, I’ll be sitting having coffee at a little cafe somewhere.
Lewis will be joining Richard Dale on Lionheart Radio on Sunday 5th February at 12 noon. He’ll be talking all about his last trip to Lanzarote, Beauty And The Beast and his upcoming cruise with Fred Olsen.
Tune in at www.lionheartradio.com
I’m excited to announce that I’m joining Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines as the lead vocalist in their production team onboard MV Boudicca cruising some of the best parts of the World. Canada, Norway Fjords, Iceland, Spain to name a few. One of my ambitions was to get on cruise and it’s happening. I couldn’t be happier!!
My itinerary and dates can be found here
First of all, Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!
Well, what a busy time I’ve had with pantomime over the festive season! I loved every minute of starring in Beauty And The Beast in the Toon! Thank you to everyone that came along and supported us. We all had a blast, there was lots of laughs and also tears as this was the final production from Newcastle Pantomime Company at the Tyne Theatre. I wish all the cast members well in whatever they do next. It’s such a shame as some of them were involved for many years and we were just a happy family. It was only my second season with them, but from the start I felt very welcome.
I’ve come to the conclusion when I stop and have a little bit of time off, I get ill! I think this is completely down to my body not being used to the break! As I write this, I’ve got snot running down my face (sorry), I need to do something soon! The nice thing is that I’m busy busy from the next few days, so this snot should shift!
Let’s address what I’m currently getting asked – ‘What you doing next?’. Well, being self employed as a performer means that there may be ‘time out’, I’m enjoying this as we speak. With numerous trips to the big smoke for auditions, we’ll see what will happen next. I’ve been very lucky (touch wood), to have worked a lot, which is great. As much as this is a little break, myself and a friend are working on an ongoing project which will be revealed when it’s finished, it’s just taking time!
